![]() ![]() The Traktor F1 comes with thousands of remix sets within its comprehensive 1.4Gb of professional sounds. The arrangement of samples and clips into slots is called a Remix Set and these can be saved and recalled instantly. The pitch can be controlled via the F1 to match your mix or produce new melodies on the fly. You can elect to have the samples and clips beat-matched to the master tempo, looped, or left as a single shots. Each slot can hold a total of 16 samples which are arranged into banks of four. This maps to the Remix Decks in Traktor DJ perfectly, representing the four slots you can load sounds into and play simultaneously. You have 16 pads, four faders and four rotary controls, which in standard operation are assigned as four linear channel strips, with each channel having a filter knob, volume fader, and four pads for triggering loops and samples. Operation of the Traktor F1 is very straight-forward. With the F1 at your fingertips you and the crowd will be submersed in a new world of interaction as you drive each other on in a creative mishmash of the known and unknown, the classic and the cutting edge, the past and the future.
